Janet L. Barnhart, 76, of Jersey Shore, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024 in her hometown she loved. She was born in Jersey Shore on Dec. 15, 1947, a daughter of Melvin and Victoria (Homler) Hauser. She was a 1965 graduate of Jersey Shore High School. She was very proud of her hometown and was elected and served as the 2nd Ward Borough Council Representative for over 15 years.
