It is astonishing that a fellow would compliment the Big Beautiful Bill as something “pretty good if you really look at what was actually in it…”

For those of us who have actually looked at it, it is nothing but a giant turd. That bill strips away so many of the pieces of a safety net that helps people at the bottom, and delivers trillions of dollars in tax breaks for those at the top. Can GT Thompson read? He is a business man and understands debt. This bill will add trillions to our debt and is a bomb set to go off some years down the road when our children will suffer the consequences. Is Thompson, like Trump, of the opinion that “I won’t be around then?” It is time to find someone with some basic values.
