After dropping their second game of the season, Bucktail softball needed just 24 hours to get back into the win column, posting a dominant 19-0 performance on the road at Benton. Eva Sockman went 4-for-4 and added 4 RBIs while Carrie Ditty and Kelsie Wagner held Benton to just one hit in a combined effort from the mound, with Ditty striking out six. The win moves the Bucks to 5-2, and they will finally return home on Monday when they host Sugar Valley Rural Charter School. LOCK HAVEN - Behind a dominant performance from Makayla Kelly, the Lock Haven lacrosse team handed No. 22 Seton Hill a 13-6 defeat Wednesday afternoon at Charlotte Smith Field. Lock Haven secured its third straight game to improve to 8-5 overall and 4-3 in the PSAC, moving into a tie for third in the Western Division. Seton Hill falls to 8-5 on the season and 5-2 in the conference. Peck gets by Smith to win 410 sprints at Williams Grove

It was a big race weekend for central Pennsylvania with PA Posse and multiple others in action.  On Friday night Justin Peck got by Ryan Smith with a late race pass and went on to win the 25-lap feature for 410 sprint cars at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night. The victory was the third of Peck’s career at the track and was worth $5,000. In the 25-lap event for 358 sprints, Derek Locke took the lead from Cole Young for the victory. Central Mountain track and field sees success in loss to Shamokin

Central Mountain's track and field athletes saw success in a number of different events, but the Wildcats were swept by Shamokin in a dual meet on Tuesday. The Shamokin girls beat Central Mountain, 93-57, while the Shamokin boys won, 99-51. Central Mountain's Grace Koehane claimed a victory in the 800 with a time of 2:32.87, winning the event by almost 20 seconds over Shamokin's Madison Anderson.
