No injuries KETTLE CREEK — No one was injured in a two vehicle crash that took place along Kettle Creek Road in Leidy Township on Oct. 9, state police at Lamar said. Kenneth A. Anderson, III, 30, of Lock Haven, was traveling along the roadway near Calhoun Lane when he failed to negotiate a right-hand curve causing his 2008 GMC V3500 to travel into the opposing lane of traffic, police said. Truck accident MILESBURG — On Nov. 1, at 2:30 a.m., a tractor-trailer operated by Maninderjit Singh, 30, of New Hyde Park, N.Y., experienced brake failure while exiting Interstate 80 onto Eagle Valley Road in Boggs Township, according to state police at Rockview. The vehicle crossed the road, struck a guide rail and collided with a set of railroad tracks, police said. The 2020 Freightliner Cascadia sustained heavy damage, rupturing its fuel tank and overturning its trailer, police said. Vehicle strikes tree LAMAR — The driver of a 2005 Honda Civic was not injured following a one vehicle crash along Long Run Road in Lamar Township on Aug. 1, state police at Lamar said. Kolton T. Parker, 23, of Lock Haven, was traveling east on the roadway when he failed to negotiate a left hand curve after a deer entered the roadway, police said.
