Escape BELLEFONTE — On Nov. 1, at 11:15 a.m., a 17-year-old boy from Moshannon escaped from the Centre County Juvenile Detention Center in Benner Township, according to state police at Rockview. Assault with weapon MILL HALL — State police at Lamar were called to an incident along Girard Street in Mill Hall Borough on Oct. 7 for reports of an assault with a weapon. According to police, a 28-year-old Lock Haven woman, while wielding a metal carabiner clip on her hand, punched a 31-year-old Mill Hall woman which caused the strike to land in a similar effect as someone using brass knuckles, police said. Two vehicle accident BELLEFONTE — On Aug. 25, shortly after 11:30 a.m., Christopher Worrick, 54, of Bellefonte, failed to come to a complete stop at the red light at the exit of Giant onto the Benner Pike in a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox, causing an accident, according to state police at Rockview. The Chevrolet was struck by Erin Thor, 30, of Bellefonte, who was operating a 2011 Honda CRV.
