Jersey Shore lost a heartbreaker in the bottom of the eighth inning as Midd-West won with a walk-off, 11-10, over the Bulldogs in baseball action. Midd-West scored five runs in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game before winning in extra innings. Jersey Shore out-hit Midd-West, 10-9. M. Lupton (2 for 4, RBI, two runs), Carter Rhinehart (2 for 4, three RBIs, run) and Ben Gill (2 for 4, RBI, run) all had mutliple hits. Bellefonte suffered a tough 12-3 loss at home against Westmont Hilltop on Friday afternoon, a day after the Red Raiders earned a 5-1 win vs. Tyrone. Bellefonte trailed just 1-0 after the first inning against the Hilltoppers, but an eight-run offensive outburst in the thrid inning propelled Westmont Hilltop to the win as Bellefonte was never able to rally.
