Clinton County Fair invites people to ‘sponsor a bench’

MACKEYVILLE — The Clinton County Fair Association invites individuals, families, businesses and organizations to sponsor a bench at the fairgrounds in Mackeyville. Each year, the fair welcomes these sponsorships, allowing people to promote their business or organization, recognize a fair volunteer or memorialize a loved one. Sponsorships also help the fair association offset the cost of the benches. Sponsors are recognized on a handsome, 2x8-inch heavy aluminum engraved plaque placed on the bench. BASD bids farewell to Bellefonte Elementary tonight

BELLEFONTE — The Bellefonte Area School District will bid farewell to the old Bellefonte Elementary School tonight with a community celebration from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The evening will begin with a screening of a documentary about Bellefonte Elementary School, created by Bellefonte Area High School students and staff, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium.
