Kettle Creek Valley Outdoor and Craft Show set for April 11

CROSS FORK — The Annual Kettle Creek Valley Outdoor and Craft Show will be held Saturday, April 11, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Kettle Creek Hose Company in Cross Fork. A variety of local craft and outdoor related vendors and non-profits will be represented. Entrance is by donation. All proceeds from the show go to the Kettle Creek Hose Company and the Kettle Creek Ambulance Association. Outside, Precision Fly and Tackle Shop will have a trailer featuring fly fishing supplies. KCSD encourages retirees to become SMILES volunteers

MILL HALL — The Keystone Central School District is encouraging local retirees to consider becoming a SMILES Program volunteer. Through this program, eligible senior residents can volunteer in district schools and receive up to a $500 credit on next year’s school property taxes. Participants complete 69 hours of volunteer service during the school year while supporting students, teachers and school programs in areas such as classrooms, libraries, cafeterias, offices and enrichment activities, according to information shared by the district. Covenant Cafe to meet April 7

LOCK HAVEN — The Covenant Cafe, an activity group for those in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias, will be meeting on Tuesday, April 7, from 1 to 3 p.m., at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W.
