Say what you will about them, but the Disney live-action remakes have at least given us a choice. Which would you rather see? A spirited, soaring, animated “Moana,” or a purposeless remake featuring Dwayne Johnson with Fabio hair? The sea is wide, my friends. Riverfest begins today at Lockport Boat Launch

LOCKPORT — The Woodward Township Recreation Committee is making final preparations for Riverfest 2026, with three days of family-friendly entertainment, live music, great food and exciting new attractions planned for July 9-11 at the Lockport Boat Launch. Castanea Day set for July 18; Event to feature vendors, music and more

CASTANEA — The Castanea Township Recreation Committee and Supervisors announced plans for Castanea Day on Saturday, July 18, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., at locations throughout the township. The event will open with a Vendor and Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Castanea Historic Railroad Complex and Bald Eagle Valley Trail, 15 Logan Ave. The fair will feature 30 vendors, artisans and exhibitors, an open house display by Clinton Central Model Railroad, open houses in historic cabooses by the Clinton County Historical Society and a basket raffle to benefit recreation activities. ...
