One new case of COVID-19 was reported in Clinton County and Centre saw an increase of 25 cases on Tuesday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Since the outbreak first began there have been 242 total cases of COVID-19 in Clinton County. Centre's current total stands at 3,744 cases throughout the county, the department said. PA confirms first COVID-19 positive cat

HARRISBURG – State Veterinarian Dr. Kevin Brightbill announced today that Pennsylvania has confirmed its first COVID-19 positive cat. The 16-year old Cumberland County cat, who lived in a household with multiple individuals who had previously been diagnosed with COVID-19, presented in early October with mild respiratory illness. Unfortunately, as a result of respiratory distress, the cat was humanely euthanized. The case is still under investigation, and a primary cause of death has not yet been confirmed. Four new case of COVID-19 were reported in Clinton County and Centre saw an increase of 32 cases over the weekend, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Since the outbreak first began there have been 241 total cases of COVID-19 in Clinton County. Centre's current total stands at 3,719 cases throughout the county, the department said. LOCK HAVEN - Integration of Lock Haven University with Mansfield and Bloomsburg took a big step forward this week. The Board of Governors for Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education (PASSHE), the governing body of the 14 state-run schools, on Wednesday affirmed the system's efforts to continue planning for the integration of six of its universities. JERSEY SHORE — Dennis Thompson, Jersey Shore mayor, submits his letter of resignation after being unanimously approved to fill the first ward vacancy on borough council on Monday night.
