MILL HALL — Thomas and Sharon Doebler of Mill Hall celebrated 50 years of marriage recently.

They were married on Jan. 17, 1969 in the Trinity United Methodist Church.

The bride was formerly Sharon Barto, daughter of Charles and Ernestine Barto. The groom’s parents were Glenn and Norma Doebler.

During their marriage they were blessed with four wonderful children, Chuck (Val), Tommy (Tammy), William, and Becky, and six grandchildren.

They have shared many adventures together, traveled around America, and participated in activities with the Masons, Salvation Army, Piper Fly-In, military veterans, motorcycle clubs, and their church family.

In their retirement years, they have enjoyed camping and bingo with their friends and sweet dogs that are a special part of their life.
