Vehicle rolls in crash JERSEY SHORE — The driver of a 2008 Honda Pilot suffered minor injuries following a one vehicle crash along Rockey Road in Crawford Township on Jan. 2, state police at Lamar said. At 4:36 p.m., Cody J. Hoffman, 23, of Jersey Shore, was traveling south on the roadway at about 45 miles per hour in a 35 mile per hour zone when he failed to negotiate a left curve and struck an embankment, police said. One vehicle accident LAMAR — The driver of a 2009 Honda Accord was not injured following a one vehicle crash along Interstate 80 West, Porter Township, on Jan. 4, state police at Lamar said. At 11:58 a.m., Dylan J. Molis, 20, of Wearville, N.C., was traveling near mile marker 171 when the vehicle traveled on the south side of the interstate and struck an embankment, police said. Bail denied for alleged Jersey Shore child-sex offender

JERSEY SHORE — Edward D. Mayo, 59, of 117 N. Broad St., Jersey Shore, was arrested Tuesday morning on numerous felony child-sex abuse charges stemming from two separate cases. One set of charges was filed by Lycoming Regional police, who have accused him of allegedly giving a 17-year-old female marijuana and money in exchange for sexual favors, court records stated. On at least two occasions between May 1 and Sept.19, Mayo had sexual relations with the teen, police said.
