Accident involves vehicle, Amish buggy in Sugar Valley

LOGAN MILLS — Just before 1 p.m. on Friday afternoon, the Sugar Valley Fire Company, the Goodwill Hose Company and the Pennsylvania State Police responded to the scene of an accident involving a vehicle and an Amish buggy in the area of West Valley Road and Mountainside Acres, near Logan Mills. Scanner reports indicated one patient laying in the middle of the roadway and unresponsive, however, upon the arrival of emergency units, the patient was found to be responsive. Source of Rockey Road fire undetermined LOGANTON — A state police fire marshall was unable to determine the source of a fire that destroyed a garage and part of a residence along Rockey Road in Greene Township on Dec. 21, 2024, state police at Lamar said. The fire occurred at about 2:30 p.m. at 306 Rockey Road, igniting in the attached garage and extending into the attic of the home, police said.
