New commissioner to be sworn in

BELLEFONTE — ­ Amber Concepcion will be sworn in as a Centre County commissioner on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023 at 8:30 a.m. in Courtroom 1 of the Centre County Courthouse. CMHS goes into brief lockdown due to off-campus incident

MILL HALL - Central Mountain High School students and staff were put under a brief shelter-in-place on Wednesday afternoon due to an off-campus incident. Keystone Central School District Superintendent Jacquelyn Martin released the following statement: "Around 1:30 p.m., we were notified of a potentially dangerous situation off school property, but near the CMHS campus. Hundreds affected by power outages in county

Yesterday's storm has lead to hundreds of Clinton County residents waking up without power Friday morning. According to PPL's Outage Center, outages have been reported throughout the county, from Bald Eagle Township and the Farrandsville areas, Woodward Township to McElhattan, Dunnstown and other regions. Food distribution to veterans moved to Tuesday

LOCK HAVEN - The Clinton County Veterans Affairs Office and Central Pennsylvania Food Bank Military Share program to provide a free food distribution for eligible veterans and their families has been moved to 9 to 11 a.m Tuesday, Dec. 20, at the Castanea Picnic Grounds.
