Crash

LOCK HAVEN — On Aug. 6, at 1:19 p.m., there was a roll over crash in the area of 311 Bellefonte Ave., according to Lock Haven City Police.

A vehicle traveling down the road struck a legally parked vehicle, causing the moving vehicle to roll onto its side, police said.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene, said police.

Harassment

LOCK HAVEN — On July 16, around 6:40 p.m., a 15-year-old boy was cited with harassment after striking another teenage boy, 13, several times while at the skatepark, said Lock Haven City Police.

Animal cruelty

LOCK HAVEN — On July 19, around 4:30 p.m., Scott Killinger, 52, of Lock Haven, was arrested for cruelty to animals, said Lock Haven City Police.

Police responded to the 100 block of Susquehanna Avenue to investigate someone possibly neglecting their dog, after it was seen covered in fleas and swollen, police said.

Killinger’s dog was taken to a veterinarian who determined that it had fleas for at least 7-12 months without being treated, police said.

Harassment

LOCK HAVEN — On Aug. 3, at approximately 12:15 a.m., a 12-year-old girl was cited with harassment after going to another 12-year-old girl’s home, grabbing her hair and punching her in the face several times, Lock Haven City Police said.

Crash

JULIAN — On July 22, at around 9 p.m., Finnaes Carlson, 18, of State College, was traveling on South Route 220, near the intersection of South Route 220, South Eagle Valley Road and Canyon Road, said state police at Rockview.

Carlson, a young, inexperienced driver, hydroplaned on wet roadway, causing his vehicle, a 2022 RAM, to strike a ditch, said police.

According to state police, Carlson had suspected minor injuries and was charged with driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Crash

SNOW SHOE — Davon Jennings, 40, of Kalamazoo, Mich., was involved in a single-vehicle crash after a bird struck the windshield of his 2014 Buick Verano while traveling west on I-80 on July 28, around 7 a.m., said state police at Rockview.

Jennings swerved left after the bird collided with his vehicle, causing the Buick to enter the median where it struck a tree before coming to a final rest, police said.

The vehicle was disabled by the accident, according to police.

Crash

YARNELL — Wei Ou, 32, of Fresh Meadows, N.Y., was involved in a single vehicle crash after swerving to miss an animal in the roadway while traveling east on I-80 in Boggs Township on Aug. 15, at 4:16 a.m., said state police at Rockview.

Ou struck a ditch on the left side of the roadway, causing disabling damage to the entire rear of the 2023 Nissan Rogue and the airbags to deploy, said police.

Ou was charged with driving on roadways laned for traffic, police said.

Arrested on two bench

warrants

LOCK HAVEN — Brooke Dickey, 33, was arrested on two outstanding bench warrants on Aug. 18 at the 10 block of Crist Lane, Lock Haven, according to Woodward Township Police.

One warrant was issued for contempt of court for an initial drug violation conviction and the other for failure to respond to a disorderly conduct charge, police said.

Dickey was transported to the Clinton County Correctional Facility on both warrants.
