Indecent Assault

TYLERSVILLE — Police investigated a report of sexual assault that allegedly occurred along West Valley Road in Logan Township sometime between 8 a.m. Aug. 24 and Aug. 25, state police at Lamar said.

Through investigation, police determined that the allegation made by a 21-year-old Lock Haven man did not occur, police said.

Harassment

FLEMINGTON — Between June 1 and Aug. 21, a 27-year-old woman from Snow Shoe received multiple harassing text messages through different phones, according to state police at Lamar.

No suspect was able to be identified and the investigation is ongoing, police said.

Criminal Mischief

LOGANTON — On Aug. 22 around 4 p.m., police received a report of a hit and run that took place around 1:30 p.m. that day on Interstate 80 West in Greene Township, state police at Lamar said.

The caller, a 76-year-old man from Beech Creek, advised that after the collision the operator of the vehicle reached his arm out of the driver side window and punched the victim’s passenger side mirror, causing minor damage, according to state police.

As of this time, the investigation is still on-going to positively identify the driver of the vehicle, police said.

Money stolen

LOCK HAVEN — Over $200 was stolen from a residence in Lock Haven in August, Lock Haven City Police said.

According to police, $280 was stolen from a Williamson Heights residence between Aug. 17 and Aug. 20.

Forgery

LOCK HAVEN — Between Aug. 18, at 11 p.m., and Aug. 19, at 12 a.m., two unknown males used two counterfeit $100 bills at the 7-Eleven at 840 Bellefonte Ave., Lock Haven City Police said.

Items stolen

LOCK HAVEN — Multiple items were taken from a home along Water Street, Lock Haven City Police said.

Between Aug. 16 and Aug. 20, an Oculus VR headset and prescription medication were stolen from the home, located in the 600 Block of West Water Street, police said.

Copper wire stolen

LOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven City Police received a report of stolen copper wire from 100 Hanna St. in an unknown period of time.

Criminal Mischief

LOCK HAVEN — On Aug. 23, between 3-3:20 a.m., someone threw a rock through a window of an apartment at 21 N. Henderson St., Lock Haven City Police said.

Theft of a vehicle

LOCK HAVEN — On Aug. 26,Lock Haven City Police received a report of a stolen vehicle along Bennage Avenue.

According to police the vehicle, no description given, was taken from the 100 Block of Bennage Avenue sometime in April.

Two vehicle crash

LOCK HAVEN — On Aug. 27, at 3 p.m., Lock Haven City Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in the area of Geisinger Medical Clinic, 68 Spring St., Lock Haven.

According to police, a vehicle, description given, was traveling south on Spring Street and crashed into another vehicle, no description given, which was legally parked.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene, police said.

Hit and run

LOCK HAVEN — Between Aug. 29, at 9 p.m., and Aug. 30, at 2 p.m., Lock Haven City Police reported a vehicle hit barricades and a “Road Closed” sign at the intersection of East Water and North Washington streets.

Car strikes utility pole

LOCK HAVEN — A driver was given medical treatment following a one vehicle crash along East Park Street, Lock Haven City Police said.

On Aug. 30, at 1:54 p.m., a vehicle, no description given, veered off the roadway and struck a utility pole in the 600 Block of East Park Street, police said.

The driver told police he was reaching for his phone at the time of the crash, police said.

The vehicle was towed from the scene and the driver was given medical treatment, police said.

Theft charges

LOCK HAVEn — Christopher Santiago, 36, of Jersey Shore, was arrested and charged with theft and receiving stolen property after an incident that occurred on July 25, Lock Haven City Police said.

Santiago is accused of stealing a bicycle from a residence in the 300 Block of East Bald Eagle Street between 3 and 4 p.m. that day, police said.
