Deer involved in crash
MILL HALL — No injuries were reported in a one vehicle crash involving a deer along Renovo Road in Grugan Township on Aug. 27, state police at Lamar said.
At 7:31 p.m., Thomas Krassman, 62, of Mill Hall, and his passenger, Andreas Krassman, 20, also of Mill Hall, were traveling east in the 4000 block of Renovo Road when a deer entered the roadway, police said.
Krassman was unable to avoid the animal and struck the deer with his 2024 Nissan Rogue before traveling another 15 yards into an unnamed gravel driveway, police said.
The vehicle sustained disabling damage to its front end, police said.
Mailboxes vandalized
LOGANTON — State police at Lamar are investigating an incident of criminal mischief that occurred on Aug. 26 at about 9 p.m. along East Winter Road in Greene Township.
According to police, two mailboxes were vandalized, causing a total of $60 worth of damage.

Criminal mischief
LOCK HAVEN — Woodward Township Police are investigating an incident of criminal mischief that occurred on Sept. 2 at a location on E. Park Drive in Webb Wood Development. According to police, the victim’s vehicle was damaged when an individual smeared feces throughout the front compartment of the vehicle’s interior.
The incident is under investigation, and anyone with information should contact Woodward Township Police at 570-858-5676.
One vehicle crash
RENOVO — On Aug. 31, Renovo Police investigated a one vehicle crash that occurred in the 9400 block of Renovo Road in the area of Green Acres Lane in Chapman Township. The crash happened around 3 p.m. when Robert Walters, 82, of North Bend, was traveling west on Renovo Road when his vehicle left the roadway on the right side, striking a large rock that caused severe and disabling damage to his 2008 Buick Lacrosse. Walters was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Martin Motors.
Renovo Police were assisted at the scene by the Chapman Township Fire Company and Renovo’s EMS Dept.
