DA: Officers justified in non-fatal shooting following high speed chase

LOCK HAVEN — Clinton County District Attorney Dave Strouse has determined, following a review, that police were justified in a non-fatal shooting following a high speed chase that ended at Lykens Market in Beech Creek on Aug. 19, 2025. According to a release via Crimewatch, Strouse’s review of the shooting, involving Brandon L. Multiple retail thefts net over $2,000 MILL HALL — A 67-year-old Mill Hall man is facing multiple charges of retail theft after it was discovered he’d stolen over $2,000 in merchandise from Walmart in Mill Hall, state police at Lamar said. According to police, on Jan. 22 at about 8:45 p.m., troopers were called to the store along Hogan Boulevard for reports of retail theft. Drug possession LOCK HAVEN — On Dec. 20, a traffic stop involving a Dodge Durango was initiated in Bald Eagle Township for Title 75 violations, according to state police at Lamar. Upon further investigation, the operator of the vehicle, a 31-year-old male, of Upper Marlboro, Md., was determined to be under the influence of drugs, police said.
